Nestled at the water's edge on Birch Bay Drive, the main road through this charmingly sleepy town, Sandcastle has generous condo-style units with either bay or mountain views.

Birch Bay is close to Mt. Baker and the San Juan Islands. You can go on a Pacific sailing expedition, fish for flounder, or watch herons glide gracefully over the sweeping tidal flats of the bay. Whatever your pleasure, let Sandcastle at Birch Bay make your vacation a natural wonder.

Gather the family together for a barbecue dinner using one of our outdoor grills, then enjoy a Pacific coast sunset on our rooftop terrace. Parking: Complimentary self-parking is available in our outdoor parking lot. Oversized vehicles including campers and trailers are not permitted to park at the resort.

Housekeeping: Housekeeping is available only to extended stays every 8th day which can be arranged at check-in. Delivery of fresh linens or other amenities is available by request at any time. Additional housekeeping services may also be requested for a fee.

Smoking Policy: No smoking, including electronic cigarettes, permitted indoors or on guestroom patio/balconies. Subject to a $500 fine.

Late check-out fees apply. Rates vary for each hour past 10am; after 2pm, 100% of the daily rate is charged

Exceeding max occupancy is not permitted, and no extra bedding is available. Penalty fees apply.

Please note that air conditioning is available in the common areas only. Ceiling fans and box fans are in the units and additional fans may be requested if needed, per availability.
Units face either the ocean or mountain (Mt. Baker). 1BD Units are all mountain views; 2BD Units are ocean view, partial ocean, or mountain view; 3BD Units are all ocean or partial ocean view.
Pack-n-plays and highchairs can be provided per request and based on availability

No pets Allowed. Only Service Animals, as defined by the ADA, are permitted at all Raintree resorts.

Sandcastle offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom condominiums, which can sleep up to eight guests. Every room features granite countertops, stainless steel kitchen appliances, a washer and dryer, a fireplace, and a private balcony with bay or mountain views.
